Fred,
Way to go. You lived your life so simple but yet so right. If only the people in charge could think like you we would be a better place.

Fred may be gone and we did not know him, but Fred made our day. We will make sure to buy a bottle of bourbon, eat some butter and bacon and have a cigar in his honor. May Fred rest in Peace!

Alice,Fred,Andy and Sara,
Scott and I share your sorrow with the passing of Fred. I know personally I will miss him calling the office and asking how is Madison. Or coming into the office and asking do you have any new pictures of her. Or telling me a joke or telling me don't tell Alice I'm smoking a cigar. He had such a great sense of humor. I know you guys miss him GREATLY and I will miss him also. I hope if there is anything that Scott and I can do that you will call on us. May God bless you all and always keep you in his prayers.

Fred left us with a set of memories that we will never forget. Fred's friend is the entire community and we will sadly miss his legacy.

I am sorry for your loss, but I have to tell you this is the most interesting, hilarious, sentimental, thoughtful, true to form
obit I have ever read and it truly makes me wish I had known Fred. I also admire your courage and conviction to print what your father would have wanted to say to the world and hope you have a wonderful fun filled party in his memory, I am sure he will be in attendance..
Good bye Fred...... you were special.

I did not know the deceased, however; I enjoyed the obit immensly. I hope there is booze and bacon on the other side.

I am sorry for your loss. It's 7am and I do not drink but I am going to lift one in his memory!! It's refreshing to see an obit that tells the true person, not the usual depressing kind.
p.s. let me know what phone booth
