The absence of your physical presence is felt in SOME way each day that I live and brings with it a mixture of both sadness and joy, understanding that you're no longer suffering and are FINALLY getting that rest that I always bugged you about. I know that you had a God-given assignment to complete and I believe in my heart that you did JUST that, and to the best of your ability. I miss you, ma, and I thank you for ALL that you did for and taught me, even when I didn't want to hear/do any of it. The love and compassion that you showed in life is now being returned to you 100 fold. I even see you in little Amari's eyes and smile. We're going to be ok. Until we meet again...
Gratitude to all of the persons that have taken time to post messages, comments and condolences. The support during the time of Mary Howell's (mother) illness and passing was unbelievable! But, she was a very giving, selfless person. Although we miss her physical presence, the family is very happy in knowing that she does not have to endure the hardships of this world anymore. Thanks again!
I miss you so much! Now that you're gone, I'm seeing life's lessons you taught me. Everything was not always easy for us and there were so many struggles but I appreciate the time we spent together. So many people thought we were sisters instead of mother & daughter because we spent so much time together. I'll never forget you, Mama. Enjoy your well-deserved rest!
To the family of Mary Howell, I offer my sincere condolences. Mary was one of the most beautiful persons I have ever known. I am so sorry to here of her passing.

For me Mary defined what a woman was to be. My heart is broken right now because I am not going to see her smile or hear her words of wisdom on this side of heaven again. Mary, I have missed you this past year and you were on my heart the past few weeks but had no idea you were not feeling well. I received the call today that you had entered into the throne of Glory...I bet you're on the front row of His choir. To Mary's family, I loved this woman and looked forward to seeing her pulling up in that car she drove. I'm going to miss her sharing about her family, listening to herar talk to her grandbaby, trips shopping to New York on the "chinese bus" and knowing she had my back if I needed prayer. Love you always Mary, Lydia
