He was so kind to me. JoAnne and I use to love to run down the hill when he came home on the boat and chat to him and run around the boat- and help him and chat with him, and then chat with him the next day in the garden, and he would take us ( JoAnne and me ), for a ride in the truck or wagon, and buy us a soda-pop. He made sure I felt at home and threw m&m's at me to make sure I felt at home lol..it was so comforting in the quiet sleeping house when he came home off the boat-- hearing...
