I was sorry to hear this morning, the passing of Gary Mitchell. My family enjoyed Thanksgivings with my Great Uncel John who was very proud of his son Gary. The children loved hearing story of Gary's travels. But I am more saddened to hear he had moved back to Richmond and I don't know. May God Bless.

Mitch was my pastor at Timber Ridge Church in Greeneville. He was a caring and loving man.

Mitch was my pastor at Timber Ridge. He taught my confirmation class and baptized me. He would always give all the children Cadbury Cream Eggs at church during children's sermon at Easter time.

I knew Mitch from seminary and were colleagues in Holston Presbytery. He got me into War Between the States re-enacting which as therapy for me at the time.I share an affection for the Eastern Orthodox from seminary and Navy chaplain service with a priest of that faith. God bless Mitch, you are missed and we'll see you with the Lord when we pass over. Peace be with you.
