Reading the condolences again, I only just caught on that Kassie was short for Kathleen. My elder daughter is Kathleen. I simply always knew her as Kassie McNeil as a child when she was my sister Eleanor's dear friend. When I think of my dear daughter, I will also remember Kass. Pray for my sister Eleanor as she has not been well for several years.
Kass had a beautiful soul. Her memory will shine brightly in our hearts.
Donna and Family, I was shocked to hear the news of your mom's passing. She was a lovely lady and I am sure she will be sorely missed by her family. May the wonderful memories you have of her help you through this most difficult time! You have our deepest and sincerest sympathy.
I was shocked to hear that Kass had passed. I was very close to Kass from years ago. She always made me laugh, and cry, and laugh again. I love her and will miss her greatly.
So sorry to hear about Kass passing. She and my sister Eleanor were childhood friends, and Classmates at West Catholic Girls. We saw her so many times at the Friendship Grill. I remember her playing the organ at St Augustine when I went to elementary school. She is in Paradise with family and friends from the past. She will be missed by so many.
Mrs Reid taught me piano and introduced me to cantoring at St. Augustine. She was one of the sweetest & most kind women I've ever met. Her dedication to St. Augustine's was amazing and I know she will be missed by all who knew her. My condolences go out to her family, friends, & St. A's choir members.
We are so sorry for your loss. Kass taught our daughter piano and helped her with voice. She played the organ for her often when Elizabeth sang at mass. She will be very missed.
Donna, Donnie, Rosemary, Michael and my oldest and dearest friend Jackie: I loved your mom like my own, my heart breaks for your loss. I am so sorry.
Jackie, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. She brought a smile and a laugh each time I saw her. She is in heaven with Winnie having a great time.

Kass was a beloved choir director who became a very dear friend. She was a dedicated servant of the Lord and a great Prayer Warrior who looked out for everyone. There is no way to describe how much we will miss her! Our love and prayers go out to all of her family and dear friends.

Kassie was like another Mom to me since my mom has pass - she was one special lady - use to take care of my brothers and I went we were in St. Augustine school - I will surely miss her - I would talk to her right before a holiday and just call to talk.
Donna, Donnie, Mike, Rosemary and Jackie - if you need anything please contact me. love to all of your and your family.
I have such great memories of spending time at Aunt Kassies's with the Reid gang. I was fortunate enough to spend a couple of days with her at the shore, where she kindly blessed the condo for us, last May and again at Christmas with my mother. It was great being back at her home. I loved all of her "old wives tales"! We will really miss her at the shore in July for what would have been their 80th birthday week. She will be with us in our hearts!!
Mrs. Reid was always a true and steadfast friend to our family. When I reflect on the major events in my life, graduations, marriages, baptisms and sadly even funerals, I remember her joyous, supportive, understanding presence. She will be missed. Sorry for your loss. God bless.
To Mike and Kelly...I'm very very sorry for your loss. May Mrs Reid rest in God's heavenly peace. Hugs to the whole family. I love you
I am truly blessed that my Aunt Kassie and I spent 4 precious hours Friday night March 21 catching up. We laughed and shared thoughts, as I always felt safe and comfortable telling her anything and everything. She would always make me feel special, listen and give great advice. Aunt Kassie had a strong faith and always counseled with God in mind. Her best advice to me was "Let go, let God". She "got me" as we were kindred souls. I will miss her laugh, her hugs and family get-togethers are forever changed. There will be one less dirty vodka martini to prepare. My family is blessed as we have wonderful memories of Kassie, one of the "Three Graces" and their infectious banter on anything and everything.
Mrs Reid was a wonderful women who always had a smile and a kind word when I would see her at Chicks. Growing up she also knew when to give me a stern look when I needed that too. I will miss her dearly and my prayers and thoughts are with her family left behind.

Our thoughts and prayers go first and foremost to her family and loved ones. She was a truly gracious, giving, loving person. Lighting musical fires in everyone she touched!
