Had the honor of taking a flight in a Cessna 172 with my mom and Mr Conger when I was 13. My mom was a former employee of his.

I will never forget having the flight of a lifetime with a hero. What an incredible legacy. What an incredible human.

One of my roll models growing up in Vallejo. Dave was a good friend of my dad, Stan Cornils(Pastor 1st Baptist Church). His counsel and advice was always well regarded.

Captain David L. Conger was assigned to the 493rd Bomb Group/861st Bomb Squadron at Debach, England from February 1, 1944 through January 14, 1945 flying 30 combat missions.

On behalf of all the members of the 493rd Bombardment Group (H) Association, I would like to pass on our sincere sympathy to all of David's family and friends.
