Rich was my maternal 2nd cousin, and our families were close all his life. We stayed in touch. His kids and us were close cousins. He -loved- the outdoors. Used to camp, hunt together, until I got married, kids etc. Rich & my Dad both were in Alaska about the same time (what an adventure that was too, and Rich was always telling me about another adventure or trip he took..). Later we connected again later and it was like we never left. Rich's retirement years were Great! He had a one great time after another, a Totally New Life again, full of adventures, a very luck man). Loved them all. Rich was a great guy. We were lucky to reconnect later in life. We'll reconnect again.....love from us, Bruce & Kristen
I remember good conversation with Rich at St. Paul's. Once we were in the same small group in a class led by Jack Hanstein. I learned a lot from Rich. Mahalo!
One of a kind,a great guy.
May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
