I remember when we were little kids and would stay at my grandma and grandpa's house all night. We would get scolded when we talked in bed until once again the room would grow quiet. Just when we thought we were out of trouble, one of us would think something funny to say. We could hear footsteps coming down the hall, that meant that grandpa was on his way. Now grandma and grandpa could be quiet stern, but never could they be mean. Mostly it was a lot of love that came from them, that is what we had seen. Finally we would settle down for the night and before we knew it, it was the next day. We were not so anxious to get up because we had talked the night away. Grandma would yell, You Kids Get up, Get out of bed now!!! It's time for you to eat... We could already smell the biscuits, bacon, eggs and pancakes, we know we were in for quite a treat from grandma and grandpa. We were right because when we saw the table set with all the yummies goodies food. It only made us want to stay a grandma and grandpa's house more and more and more.

It's hard to find the words to tell someone goodby. To tell my grandmother, one of the most important people in my life. I will miss her dearly but I will always keep her memories close and dear. Memories I can share and memories I can hold onto. If I close my eyes I have my own picture of her. A picture of a wife who for many long years stuck by through thick and thin. A picture of a Mother that strived to show her seven children love and affection throughout their lives. A picture of a Grandmother that treasured each grandchild and tried to give them everything they ever asked for. A picture of a Friend that was always there to help in any way she could. I have so many special memories of her that I will always have and although she is not here with us anymore I can reflect on those memories and smile because they remain. I do not want to say a whole lot but do want to remember her and honor her. It seems like not a day goes by that she does not enter my mind. Often several times... Something always trigger a memory or thought of her. I hope one way or another, my grandma has found peace, and that my grandparents are together. I will never forget them. Someday may be I will even see them again... That will be a good day... We will miss you grandma, more than anything. Always know how much we loved you. And your memory will never be forgotten. I love You very much Grandma, Nina!

On the night before He died, Jesus said:

Do not let your hearts be troubled
You have faith in God;
have faith also in Me.
In My Father's house
there are many dwelling places.....
If I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come back again
and take you to Myself,
so that where I am
you also may be.....
Peace I leave with you;
My peace I give to you....
Do not let your hearts
be troubled or afraid
(John 14)
For where your treasure is,
there also will your heart be.
(Matthew 6:21)

Mom, you're always be remembered in our daily prayers as long as the Grace of God is needed.

God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So he put His arms around you
And whispered "Come to me."

With tearful eyes we watched you
As you slowly slipped away
And though we loved you dearly
We couldn't make you stay.

Your golden heart stopped beating
Your tired hands put to rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
