The the Dozer family
these were two of the finest people.
Mr. Dozer was our minister when I was growing up in Conesville.
Our thought and prayers are with all of you.

Dear Cousins, Please accept my sincere sympathy upon the passing of your parents, grandparents, great grandparents. I can't imagine the loss you feel to lose them both at the same time. My husband and your mom were 3rd cousins. I do family history and found out that your parents had recently left the small Wesleyan church in Conesville, Ohio where I was teaching at the time ( in 1999). We exchanged letters numerous times and I called them a few times to get answers to family hhistory. We tried to meet up at different times but something always seemed to get in our ways when they would try to come back to Coshocton County, so sadly I never got to meet them face to face. I was so saddened to hear that your mother had dementia, so my last conversation was with your dear Daddy. They were such nice people! God bless you at this time and give you peace of heart.

Aunt Leola always made a special effort to make all of the nieces and nephews feel special. She always had some little games, books, gum or candy for us when she visited or when we visited her in our growing up years. She continued that tradition with my children as they were growing up and even with my grandchildren. When she sent a letter, there was always something special tucked inside for the kiddos. I cherish the stories that she gathered for the family about our heritage and she always knew who was connected to whom and kept us posted on family updates through the years. Loved hearing her play piano and sing and am especially blessed to have had her musical influence along with that of Aunt Lois and Mom. She also loved telling stories and kept the Lord as top priority in her conversations. I will miss her also, but It's going to be great to join that family circle some day when I go home to be with the Lord!

I was very sorry to hear of Leola's death, especially so soon after her husband. It's a comfort to know they are both safe in God's memory.
