Bernie - there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of your dad as I walk down my hallway that is lined with photos that he made and they were made from his heart as he took great pride in his work. He put a lot of love into everything he did!

I remember visiting Bernie with my best friend, his cousin Michael. The first thing you would notice is the smell of the chemicals. Then his face would light up with his great smile. He always had time for us. He was a great role model. Rest In Peace, Mr. Walko.

Dad, thanks for welcoming me & my Son G.T. into the family! I'm truly thankful for being your Daughter in law, and the times we've had together. The most memorable moment... Dancing The Polka with me @ our wedding! Hands down, best dance ever! I will cherish the memories always. Love you.

He was the best grandfather I could ever ask for. Grandpa Walko was the type of guy you wanted to grow up and be like. he always had a smile on his face and a "can do" attitude that everyone admired. He took me under his his wing and taught me valuable life lessons that I will never forget. for that ,I will be forever greatful. Love you grandpa.
Rest in eternal peace , your grandson .... G.T. Sandefur (step son of Robert Walko)

All of us from Central Catholic will never forget Mr Walko! How could we??? He took every picture, in every yearbook. And he had a great smile that I will always remember. When it came time to pick a photographer for our wedding pictures, no other person was even considered. Of course, it had to be Mr Walko.
To Anne and all the Walko family, you are all in my prayers. We will all remember your loved one because he was as much a part of the Central Catholic Family as any student or faculty member. We all loved him!

My condolences to the Walko Family, especially Anne, "Bernie's apprentice" according to our yearbook. Anne, your Dad was so much a part of our days at Central, and now those days are treasured with the year book we use so often as we get together for yearly reunions and monthly lunches. Know that you are thought of fondly. Wishing you peace in beautiful memories of your Dad. Love and prayers to you and your family.
