Happy Birthday, Nana
January 10, 2011
With a NEW YEAR comes additional difficult days as each special holiday and memory comes to mind. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family Becky!
December 17, 2010
For now she will be in a place of peace and serenity. No tiredness, illness, no sadness nor tears,
Forever free to oversee all of us and our fears.
I will always love you my second mom. I cried so hard at the news of your passing, then all of a sudden I started laughing because the bear story came to mind. Wendy, Becky, Norman, Bill, Beth and Uncle Bill, please know that I really was here with you all during this time with my prayers and love. I love all of you VERY VERY MUCH! Ramona a/k/a Merona!

One month, and nothing is easier. With the holidays approaching, we will all be remembering the wonderful times we had with Nana. Christmas eve gift exchanging, trays of the finest kielbasa, and an entire dining room table of Christmas cookies. The tremendous turnout at her viewing and funeral only represented a fraction of the lives she touched. Let us honor her this holiday by showing kindness toward one another. We must cherish this life we have.

When special people Touch our lives,
Then suddenly we see...
How beautiful and wonderful our world can really be.
They Bless us with their love and joy through everything they give -
When Special people Touch our lives...
They teach us how to live!

Today is a tough day for many of you as we dedicate this tribute to an amazing individual, Mrs. Gensel. On behalf of all thw Chinikaylos (Russian families), I am going to share something with you, somthing so many of you already know: Mrs. Gensel, what a remarkable, kindhearted individual she was!

Eighteen years ago, she opened her arms, her heart, and her house to us - to complete strangers. She invited us to her family with the sweet embrace of love, care and understanding.

She invited us to her family, the only family we had here, when we came to the United States. She did not judge us by our apperances, our traditions, our socioeconomic status, or by the language that we absolutely could not get the hang of. (I hope that now you can understand me at least a little bit.)

We are part of the Gensel Family. We were invited to all family picinics and many celebrations throughout the years. I particularly rememeber one Fourth of July holiday. We had a wonderful time. There was enoug food, enough laughs, and enough love for everyone: all kids and adults.

The Legacy of Mrs. Gensel is being shared amoung us and our children. And now our children will share it with theirs. She was a a living proof of God's unconditional love. I know it in my heart, as she invited us with her loving embrace into her family and into her house; the Lord with His loving embrace invited her into His kingdom. And one day we will meet agian. Until then, I know, you will miss her greatly. We will miss her too...!

Thank you for letting me share this with you!

Sincerely,
Tamara Chinikaylo (behalf of Russian Families)

Bill and Family,
I will always remember the days when I was just a kid and my sister and I would spend almost every saturday at Gram Williams and "Aunt" Bet's. Aunt Bet had the biggest heart in the world. I will keep these memories with me forever. Remember her smile and you will never be sad.

Bill and family,

My deepest sympathy. We shared many wonderful times together! The laughs we all had will never be forgotten. My best memory is Betty falling off the snowmobile while going riding with Troy! I have told that story many, many times.....
Love and prayers, Carol
