Lori Ann Baker, 41, of West Ridge Street, Nanticoke, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008, at her home following a long illness.
Born on June 20, 1967, in Yonkers, N.Y., she was a daughter of Ronald and Barbara (Archer) Hickey.
In her early years, she resided in Middletown, N.Y., and was a graduate of the Middletown High School, class of 1985. She resided in Nanticoke for many years, later moving to Mt. Joy, Pa., and was employed as a nurse’s aide in the Lancaster area. She returned to Nanticoke in 2006. She most recently attended Allied Medical and Technical Careers, Forty Fort, where she studied in the pharmacy technician program.
Surviving are her parents, Ronald and Barbara Hickey, Lords Valley, Pa.; sons Brian Sukowaski Jr., Millersville, Pa.; and Seaman Shane Sukowaski, U.S. Navy, stationed aboard the USS Enterprise, Virginia Beach, Va., and his wife, Kelsey; sisters Colleen Archer and Kelly Burke, of Florida; brothers Ronald Hickey and his wife, Katie, Middletown, N.Y.; and Brian Hickey and his wife, Cher Coscia, Middletown, N.Y.; Thomas Hickey and Kevin Hickey, both of Lords Valley, Pa.; nieces and nephews.
Honoring Lori’s wishes , private services will be held and there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Dinelli Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad St., Nanticoke.
