In loving memory of a wonderful human being. Getting this reminder gave me a flood of emotion of how shocked I was of his passing. It also gave me a chance to reflect again on this who he was to how I enjoyed his wit, his intellect and friendship. He truly was an amazing person. He and Bill together could make me laugh and learned so much from Stephen. I will always be grateful for what he did for me in business and what he left with me in our interactions or when we had our last steak dinner at Bobs Steakhouse in SF. I will truly miss you always. Hearts and prayers to his family and Bills.

Dear Kathy and Family,
I was sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He was a great guy. I first met Steve in 1984 when he hired me at VOA. As I got to know him; I wonder why a M.I.T grad who knew the chemical equasion for burning plastic was working here. That question puzzled me as time went on. So I finally asked. He said that yes he could have made more money with his degree, but he really just wanted to help people and this was how he was doing just that. That right there was been with me since that day almost 30 years ago. He made a difference in so many lives. May God's grace, mercy, and love be with you at this time and always.

Steve you will be missed my man. You had a tender soul, quick wit and at work you made me and others laugh. I hope you have found peace on the other side-
I leave you with this old Iris Blessing:
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the warm rays of sun fall upon your home
And may the hand of a friend always be near.
May green be the grass you walk on,
May blue be the skies above you,
May pure be the joys that surround you,
May true be the hearts that love you
Rest in Peace Steve-
