I had the pleasure of meeting Susan through Camp Braveheart last summer. It was though I had known her for my life. That was just the kind of person she was. I am truly saddened to hear of her passing and the family will be in my prayers. Toni Ann Bartoletti

I am writing to express my deepest sympathy to the Villano family, especially to Connie. I was Connie's second grade teacher at Sacred Heart and I had come to love and admire her mother, Sue, for her kindness and courage. She was a wonderful women and I feel privledged to have known her. I remember when she was first diagnosed, she was so positive and kept active with her craft-making. I still have the Christmas angel that she made for me and I say a prayer for her and Connie and the family whenever I take it out at Christmas time. I want to remind Connie of all the things she learned in religion class. God is with you and He is there to comfort you in your sorrow. Go to Blessed Mother and she will also give you the grace you need to get through this difficult time. Most of all, remember that your mother is with you and will be with you always. Make her proud! Love, Mrs. Shehwen
