I found out late and have a heavy heart. Walt was one of the most genuine good guys I ever met in my life. I'll never forget when he showed up at 7 AM, fixed the roof on my house, when no one other contractor would even show up, and then didn't want to take any money. He got mad when I tried to pay him ! I watched Walt frame my brother-in-law Terrence's 2-car garage almost single handedly with the rest of us bumbling helpers- he had it framed and under shingles in less than 24 hours. Amazing. Walt loved cars and we all remember his Chevy Impala, Chevelle, and Camaro with those wild Imron paint jobs- and "spa appreciation night" on his back deck. This was one special guy with a heart bigger than life. There was no one harder working man in this world, and no better friend once you got to know him. He had many tough breaks in life but went out swinging. Anyone who lost Walt as a friend, it was their loss IMHO. I highly respected Walt and his building skills were second to none. He didn't need blueprints or architect drawings- he saw the finished room, addition, or house in his mind- and could build ANYTHING. He was an excellent painter and pretty good mechanic too. Old school, you don't meet people like this today. He could build a garage or house from scratch. The most talented pure natural born carpenter and builder I've ever seen. RIP buddy, you're up there with Mark now, doing that big concrete job in the sky. We all miss you and you went way too soon. With sadness, your friend Chizzy i.e. Charles Nudo
