Katie and boys,
We are so sad for your loss. We had great times and fellowship with your family. Also Great memories of Okinawa with Donny and your family in Vista. Also the great laughs we had and fondly remember all the jokes between Mike and Donny. It was nice to have quality fellowship with quality people. Donny was a Great Husband and Father as we saw him. He is with God and a Great place to be. Even though his presence will be missed. We pray that God would comfort you guys and strengthen your family through this time. We also pray that God would help you through this time.

Katie and the boys,
Myself and Dora are deeply saddened by the news of Donnie's home going. Even though it has been some years since we have seen one another, I know that Donnie was the ultimate Husband, Father, and Marine and if you were his friend, he was faithful. So at ease Marine and take your rest in the presence of the giver of life JESUS. And may God undergird and comfort you and the boys heart in the knowing that you will meet again on the other side. With a heavy heart.
Dave Morris and Family.

To the Miller Family,
Words cannot express the pain that you are feeling following the loss of your husband, father, brother, son and friend. Master Guns was a Marine from the heart, he fought his courageous battle until the end with the same vigor and pride he did when he was on active duty as a United States Marine. We at the Walter Reed Detachment had the distinct pleasure of taking care of MGySgt Miller just before he was transferred to Ohio where he wanted to be closer to his family in his final days. We were all struck by his tenacity and his will to live despite his diagnosis. The news of his passing has not been easy by any stretch of the imagination but were are all better because we knew the man, the Marine. He has left an indelible mark in our hearts and he will forever be remembered by his Marine Corps Family. In the days, months and years to come feel free to reach out to us your extended family at the Walter Reed Detachment for assistance that may arise. MGySgt Miller has transitioned on to his assume his final duties - guarding the streets of heaven as he awaits the arrival of other fallen Marines.

DON RAY MILLER
Doing the right thing everyday
Overseas and on home soil
Never slacking his duties.
Richly enhancing our lives
As he served our country.
Yielding, his commission continues.
Marine and musician gave up fight,
Invited home at last;
Lovingly told, “Well done faithful servant”.
Leaving behind pain and suffering;
Eternally serving his Master,
Recruited to the ultimate base.
Gratefully,
Ray Griffith
