Thank you,Mr. Summerall for that beautiful kick in the snow. I was 8 years old and watching the game with my father. I have been a Giant fan ever since- all because of you and then the great Y.A.

Prayers go out to the family

To the family of Pat Summerall, May the comfort of God's promises keep you strong and faithful. One of God's promises tell us that to be absent from the body is to be present with God. What a beautiful promise to warm our hearts and keep us confident. May Pat rest in peace.

Nothing like going to a game in person but listening to Pat on Sunday afternoons was the next best thing -- what a great guy and announcer -- especially those classic Cowboys-Redskins games at RFK -- RIP

Thoughts and prayers to the family of Mr. Summerall from Episcopal School of Jacksonville

Pat Summerall was a name and voice that all football watchers knew. But, I met Mr. Summerall and Cheri when he had his liver transplant at Mayo as Alton had received one and was in the room that was needed for Pat's inital recovery. Cheri and I first met at a one on one support meeting and shared the impact of this surgery. My brother was also then living in Lake City. As Pat recovered, he and Cheri were always concerned about the other patients and their families. They never passed without stopping to speak. In the last 9 years, I have always been happy to see Pat's name and know that he was able to enjoy the years after his transplant. To the family of the young man who was the donor, this was a most appreciated gift. The Summerall family will be in my thoughts as they cherish the memories of the past to sustain them in the coming days.
