Anthony Denier Obituary

DENIER Lance Corporal Anthony On behalf of me, my daughters and family a profound and heartfelt Thank You to the community and all others that have thought of us in anyway. Staff Sgt. James Bolen of the US Marine Corp., Thomas Salvadore from Devito-Salvadore Funeral Home, Mayor Anthony Sylvester, Joe Waldron of the Mechanic-ville Police Dept. were extremely valiant in taking on the many details, leaving my family the time we needed to grieve the loss of my son. The American Legions Post 490 Stillwater, 1644 Riverside and 91 Mechanic-ville came together as one to support my family and honor my son. Lt. Bondi of the USMC who escorted my son from Dover, DE home gave me the comfort of knowing he was never alone. All cities that came together to support the American Hero, my son who showed all that we can put others before ourselves and support each other as a community and the support of those who did and did not know Anthony joining as true patriots.

I know there are no words to say at this time, except how sorry that I am. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Anthony will never be forgotten.

For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I'm home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I'm only a civilian
And I don't even know if it's allowed

But I salute you; allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
Even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
My humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you.

For those missing in action;
for those who didn't make it home.
I know you're in God's presence you are not alone.
For every neatly folded flag;
for every shattered family
I will do the only thing I know to dignify your memory.

I salute you, allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
my humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.

I salute you .

I Salute You.

I do not know you, or your son personally. What I do know personally is the loss of every fellow Marine. I feel the loss, I cry the tears and I feel the hurt. But I rejoice in the fact that young men and women such as LCpl Denier, chose to be a part of something so much more than themselves. I look at our young warriors every day and am truly humbled and honored by them. Whether I served beside them or they have served after me, I am honored. Take comfort and pride in the fact that you instilled a sense of honor, duty and country in your child. He has served among the finest human beings that this nation and world has ever had the privilege of having tread this earth. I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your son now stands among other Marines guarding Heaven's Gates. "For he who sheds his blood with me, shall forever be my brother."
