I met Dee Dee in 1991 when I started work at WIRS in Latham and we were friends ever since. She was very sweet and good natured and always happy to see people and start a conversation about anything. I visited her home several times a year and had great times listening to music, tv and movies, talking about good times at work, politics, her family, and lots of small talk. She never let any obstacle get her down for long and was determined to live as healthy and independent as she possibly could. But nothing came close to importance to Dee Dee as her devotion to her daughter Angela. Her daughter's well being and happpiness was number one to Dee Dee. I'll miss Dee Dee's phone calls and chats we shared for so many years. Rest in peace my friend.
