R.I.P my friend. I was at a loss of words when i heard the news of what happened. I didn't wanna believe it. You welcomed me with open arms to the new unit as I was transitioning out of active duty and we shared some great and awesome times together. Memories I will never forget. I'll always remember your personality and how you could converse with anyone and everyone liked you. You were easy going and fun to joke around with. It's going to be a huge loss for me and the unit knowing you're not going to be around anymore. Drill and Annual Training just isn't going to be the same without you around big man. Though it was tragic that your life had ended so shortly way before your time should have been up, I'm glad that I got to meet such an awesome guy such as yourself even if it was only for 9 months....those were a great nine months! Rest easy sergeant Scobie...continue to watch over your family and friends and take care from above. No one will ever forget you big man.
