Capuano, Elaine C. CLIFTON PARK Elaine Corrigan Capuano, 78, former Lansingburgh resident, died Thursday, January 1, 2009 at Samaritan Hospital. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Emmett Corrigan and Hazel Patrick Corrigan and wife of the late John A. Capuano who died October 29, 2005. A lifelong area resident, she was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School, class of 1948. Elaine was a clerk with the former D A Fazioli & Son Insurance Agency, retiring in 1995. She previously worked for the former Ryan & O'Haire Agency in Troy. Elaine enjoyed her monthly lunch dates with her high school friends and her Sunday coffee time with her friend Jan. Spending time at the yearly Corrigan cousin celebrations was at the top of her list. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church, Lansingburgh. Survivors include her daughters, Renee Archambault and Michele Moore, both of Clifton Park, Denise Mikkelsen (Glen) of Colonie; four grandchildren, Ben and Carly Bebernitz, Matt Mikkelsen and Lyndsay Moore; a step-granddaughter, Shannon Fisher; a brother, Joseph (Fran) Corrigan; and sister-in-law, Joan Corrigan of Clifton Park; and sister-in-law, Mary Pantore (Joseph) of Waterford; two nephews, Michael Corrigan (Wendy), Thomas Corrigan (Carol); and a niece, Alice Marie Marble (Doug). Funeral services Monday at 8:45 a.m. from the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Augustine's Church, 115th Street and Fourth Avenue, Lansingburgh where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Troy. Calling hours are 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
