For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I'm home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I'm only a civilian
And I don't even know if it's allowed
But I salute you; allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
Even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
My humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you.
For those missing in action;
for those who didn't make it home.
I know you're in God's presence you are not alone.
For every neatly folded flag;
for every shattered family
I will do the only thing I know to dignify your memory.
I salute you, allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
my humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you .
I Salute You.

I do not know you, or your son personally. What I do know personally is the loss of every fellow Marine. I feel the loss, I cry the tears and I feel the hurt. But I rejoice in the fact that young men and women such as LCpl Denier, chose to be a part of something so much more than themselves. I look at our young warriors every day and am truly humbled and honored by them. Whether I served beside them or they have served after me, I am honored. Take comfort and pride in the fact that you instilled a sense of honor, duty and country in your child. He has served among the finest human beings that this nation and world has ever had the privilege of having tread this earth. Whjo Chose to be a Marine
I chose to be Marine,
because I wanted to save lives even if it meant giving mine up.
It's OK Mom to cry.
I can see you from here.
That folded flag you held so tight..
I touched it. I wiped your tears and ...wept with you.
The only regret I have is that I am not there to help my troops.
Tell everyone hello and that I am OK.
I will be watching them from up here in the CLOUDS.
Heaven is as beautiful as they said. So much love. Mom, that warmth you felt when the sun came in your window this morning…
that was me kissing your cheek. Love you.
There are heroes that take up arms and fight for freedom.
The brave, the ones that fear not death.
Then there are the silent heroes. The ones that are there to save lives.
The ones that care more about others and fear not death,
but instead fight death every day.
The knock upon my door this evening was of such a hero.
He died trying to save a comrade.
With bullets flying and grenades exploding,
he kept on trying to save a comrade till his life was taken.
Heaven has a brighter star now. He sits beside God and His angels.
We are so sorry your Blue Star has turned to Gold May God be with you as you honor rhe memory of your precious loved One LCpl Anthony Denier

CHRISTMAS WITHOUT ME
Do tears blur the colors of Christmas lights
And carols make you sigh?
Are you saddened because it's Christmas
And I am not nearby?
Do you think of all the joyous times
We shared in seasons past?
Does the ache feel overwhelming
Seeming like it will always last?
Please don't weep for me.
Know this Christmas is my best.
At this Christmas dinner
I'm seated with the Honored Guest
If the tears you cry are for you,
Lonely without me today
To share this year's season,
Then listen to what I say.
God's gift that first Christmas
Was much more than His son.
He gave to us the promise
Of eternal life for everyone.
Now that I've gone on and received
That promised gift of life,
I'm very much a part of
The Christmas spirit light.
I'm the angel sitting on top of
A decorated tree
And a simple Christmas carol
Sung by a child so reverently.
I'm the Santa on the corner
Loudly ringing his bell.
I'm in that Christmas Eve story
That you know so well.
I'm in every sight and sound
That brings people Christmas joy.
I'm a smile on the face of a child
Who received a much loved toy.
Now that I'm part of the season
We loved and shared so much,
Close your eyes, think of me.
Reach out and feel my touch.
Please share in all the joy I'm feeling
Being a part of Christmas cheer.
Look around and you'll find me.
Joyous Christmas, for I am near.
We are so Sorry your Blue Star has turned to Gold
May God be with you at this most difficult time Granting you peace
