Mickey, my dearest cousin. My stomach is still turning. I never got the chance to see you again I still have vivid memories from the time you came to Africa and we all had a good holiday and you bit into a huge chunk of ice cream cake when you had your braces on :) I have braces now by the way and the whole time when I was planning to get them I thought of my brace face cousin. I spoke to Aunty Angie on Christmas and she told me to visit you as I am planning a trip to the US in the near future. Mickey I wish I had been back in touch sooner and to think I had found and friend requested you on Facebook shortly before hearing this sad news. I will miss you and may your soul find eternal life until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand. Lots of love from your cousin Bongie xxxxx

Mitch and I worked at the East Greenbush summer camp for a couple years. He was always a joy to be around. I consider myself lucky to have known him, and forever grateful for his service. I will never forget Mitch, especially his sense of humor. To his family I am very sorry for your loss. He will be forever missed.

You were such a genuine human being, I liked you the minute I met you though it was only a few times. My heart goes out to your family and closest friends, I hope the space left behind becomes filled with more love and positivity then it can hold - one who lives in the hearts of many is never really dead, for energy can not be destroyed - may that energy carry all of the broken hearts to tomorrow. Rest easy Mitch, I hope you found the peace you were looking for.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I knew him through pictures and videos posted by my grandson Freddie Wilson who served with him in Korea. Words cannot express my feeling for you and family during this time. I will keep the family in my prayers. Agnes Sankey McClain

We used to write letters to each other before we were teens, we used to call each other now and then. We stayed far apart from each other but the brotherly love we had was great, surpassing anything at all. I was looking forward to you coming down to S.A boet to spend time with your sister Lorna, myself and the rest of the family in Harare.
Like we'd say all the time, " PEACE". Love always boet.

Angela; I remember Mickey as a tiny child. I am shocked and so very sorry for your loss. He was always a very special boy. Please call me when things settle a little. Laurene OBrien

I did not know your son, brother, or whatever he may be to you...but he served in Korea with MY son, Airman Earnest Lee, III. I am so sorry to hear of this devastating news and wanted to reach out and send prayers up. God bless you and your family and God bless Mitchell.

I am sorry for your loss. Your son was a good boy. He has spent time with my family and we made him feel like he was one of our own. May he rest in peace for eternity.

My condolences to Mitch's family. Mitch was a kind, polite young man. He will be missed.
