I know this is well overdue but I couldn't pass up on the opportunity to mention what a dear person Acey was. I knew him through Southside Baptist Church and he was such a character with a wonderful sense of humor. My son thought the world of him and now he's with the King of Kings - we'll see him again one day....RIP

I served in the Navy with Acey. He was a father figure to me and guided, chided, and instructed me in my youth. The world is a lesser place in his absence. I know that Dot and family will miss him greatly. As Christians we believe that to leave this world is to step into the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. Good bye my friend and mentor.

I worked with Acey at J C Penney's for almost five years back in the 80's. I remember him being a very caring man, but with a sense of humor! Praying for the Henshaw family at this time.

I worked with Acey for well over 12 years at South Jacksonville Presbyterian Church . Though those years and experiences I learned a lot from him. BUT what I will miss the most is when he would come up to church after working he's weekly assigned hours just have coffee with me and to check on how is was doing.I knew if I ever needed him I could call and we would work the problem out
I miss him alot.
