HILGERSON Mr. Arthur Barnett Hilgerson, age 89, of Baldwin, Fla. died Tuesday, April 29, at St. Vincent s Medical Center, Jacksonville, Fla. following a short illness. He was born in Jacksonville, Fla and resided in Baldwin, Fla. for most of his life. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and was a welder by trade. Mr. Hilgerson was of the Baptist faith and attended Grace Baptist Church in Baldwin, Fla. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine C. Hilgerson, son-in-law, John Bangs, and two brothers, Harry and Paul Hilgerson. He is survived by one son, Arthur B. Hilgerson, Jr. of the Philippians: Five daughters, Linda (David) McGlashan of Spring City, TN, Katherine (Walter) Perritt of Pace, Fla., Mary Evelyn (Lavern) Watson and Rita Bangs both of Baldwin, Fla., and Dolores (Wayne) Dunnaway of Jasper, Fla.: One brother, John Hilgerson of Tampa, Fla.; One sister, Rose Murry of Jacksonville, Fla.; 16 grandchildren, 44 great- grandchildren, and 34 great-great grandchildren also survive. A memorial service will be conducted Monday, May 5, at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, with Rev. Gene Burnsed officiating.
