To the Family of COACH FORD,
This strong example of what we "young FLETCHER CLASS of 1965" was an example to follow throughout the years. His Christian spirit at CHURCH of CHRIST in JAX BCH filled the direction that BENNY FREDERICKS followed for years. Our thoughts and prayers with you at this time.
Sorry for your loss, such a handsome man. You don't know me but I lost my mom last year and was going through her pictures and found a picture of Bobby For tying his boxing shoe. I can be reached if you would like this picture of him in his early years. My cell number is 713 515 0770
To the Ford Family,
I did not know any of you personally, but your Dad was wonderful. In the old Fletcher (where all 7-12) attended - the halls were always crowded - but when Bobby Joe walked down the hall ways the path cleared just like the Red Sea did for Moses. He could give you two looks - one I loved he smiled at you - the other mostly at the boys was that stare. You knew, or the guys did,not to mess around while Bobby Joe was there. May God bless you all and know that others loved your Dad too. Carolyn Hathaway McLaughlin - Class of 1965 Fletcher.
Dear Catherine, Our love goes out to you and the family. Bob was a man who challenged you and make you think. You did not stand before him unprepared. May God bless in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Love, Victor and Kathleen.
Dear Catherine it was with astonishment that I heard of Bob"s passing. I know that this is a difficult time for you. You truly have a friend in Jesus and me. May God"s comfort be all that you need to shore up your self and the family. I love all of you and my friend Bob will be missed by me more than anyone can know, akind heart and a fairer man there was none. All my prayers for you and the family. If you need me I can be reached at 904-540-4753.
Bobby Joe Ford, Coach Ford, was my favorite. He worked me into submission and I loved him for it. What a man, tough as nails and a kind word when needed...not too often though. He visited me later when I was working at St Johns G&CC...just walked in my office, said "Hey Chatfield, what you doing?". We had a great visit. I will cherish memories of Coach Ford forever. Rest in peace Bobby Joe.
Ms. Ford & Family-
My prayers and thoughts are with you all and the extended family of Oceanside Church of Christ. Bro Ford touched many lives and I am thankful to have known him. May you find comfort in The Lord and in knowing Bro. Ford was a God-fearing man and faithful Christian.
Love you all!

Dear Mrs. Ford, I am sorry to hear of the passing of Bobby. He was a very strong person like yourself. Strength and prayers to you and your family.
I was honored to be coached by Coach Ford during the ole days of Fletcher Football (Class of 1966). He was truly a great inspiration and a great coach. A man of few words on the practice field but he knew how to grow some sand spurs. He will be missed here on this earth but I know he is already coaching some Purple Pride right on the field in Heaven. Our family express great sympathy for your lose of such a great man.
Our sincere sympathy to the entire family. Coach Ford was a true example to us and so many throughout his lifetime. Thank you for sharing this special man throughout the years-especially Class of'65.
We have loved you and your family ever since we've known you and will continue to keep you in our hearts and prayers during this difficult time.
Prayers for the Ford family. Tara Herrell
He made us do push ups on our fingers, run the cement stadium seats (25 rows if my memory is correct). He coached the "weight team" for track and he taught us to explode, to focus energy and to execute.
We knew his coaching us was secondary--his first love was football, but under his oversight, I set the school record in shot put. He took some dough-boys and set us on a path to man-hood.
My condolences to his family. He is fondly remembered.
My Dear Friend Catherine,
I was saddened to hear about the passing of your husband Bobby Joe. Cherish the memories of this wonderful man, who made your life complete.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Hugs and Love,
Ms. Catherine and Family: It was a pleasure meeting such a wonderful man. I will remember him by his smile.
Abundant blessings to you all.
Thoughts and prayers are with you. May the grace and mercy of God sustain you and go with you in the future.

May your memories bring you peace and comfort. Your are in my thoughts and prayers.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this most difficult time....
My thoughts & prayers are with the entire family. My heart is sad to hear of Bob's passing. At the same time, though, I have a smile on my face as I remember all the happy times I spent w/Bob and extended family when Ian & I lived in Jax Beach. Bob was a huge influence on my life and my faith in Christ. I, without a doubt, was always made to feel welcome and part of the Ford/Landolt families. What a wonderful loving, caring, funny, Christian man. I am truly honered and blessed to have had known Bob. I will miss you, Bob! All my love! Mindy & Ian too.
My condolences to you and your family.
My condolences for your loss. Wishing your family peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead, and loving memories to forever hold in your hands. May God continue to comfort you and your family (Psalm 9:9,10).
