So sorry to hear about your dad. Very thankful you included us on your visit to Birmingham. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.
I remember Elden as a kind and gentle man. He hired me when Atlantic Bank and First Bankers merged into First Union. He was wonderful and patient while guiding me through the environmental changes of relocation and bank cultural differences. Your Dad was a very special gentlemen and I'm grateful to him.
May Almighty GOD, continue to Bless and keep Elden's family as they celebrate the Home-Going their Love-one.

Elden & Chip Sharp were the very reasons that made us want to move on the river in Colonial Point. I loved hearing Elden's stories and how proud he was of his grandsons! He loves you both more than you may ever know! I cared so much more about him; I am afraid that he didn't know how much he meant to me. I will miss him very much so I want to make sure that you know, Chip how much you mean to me and I truly cherish our friendship and am thankful to God that we are neighbors. If you need anything or just want to have coffee together on your back porch again just yield upstairs and I will be there!! Your Dad & you are ALWAYS in my heart??
Mike, and Chip, I am sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. I will always remember him as what my Dad called him, "statue" . He will be greatly missed. Kenneth King
We liked Mr. Sharp very much. He was a kind man and neighbor. We know how much he will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his little dog Rusty.
