I am so sorry for your loss. John is a wonderful, kind person that will be missed by all that knew him.
My sincere condolences to the family. Many memories of John over the years as a fellow co-worker and friend. A true gentleman, kind-hearted and a great mentor. Rest in Peace John!
Eventhough our loved ones are in heaven they will always live on in our heart
Dear family, I am so saddened to hear of John's passing. He was my boss at State Farm for 5 years and I so enjoyed working for him. He was such a nice easy going man and very caring about people. I remember the year before he was to retire, a co-worker, he and myself went to Colorado to a Claim School. My co-worker and myself had to study until midnight every eveing just to pass the course but John did not have to study a lick. He knew that information back and forward. While there we road up to a ski resort to look around. My co-worker and I as a joke kept trying to get him to go skiing and he kept telling us "heck no I am not going skiing. I am getting ready to retire and I don't want to hurt my knees. I want to be able to enjoy my retirement and play golf." I think he knew we were kidding. I know he always loved the beach to. I remember how excited he was about builing his home when he was getting ready to retire. I hope he had many wonderful retirement years, he so deserved it. He often spoke of David and Susan and how proud he was of both of you. He loved you both very much. My thoughts and prayers are sent your way and may you find peace in knowing how much he was liked and even more how much he will be missed. May God bless each one of you.
Susan & David,
I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Like so many others, it was an honor to have worked for your Dad. He was always a man of integrity, compassion and great wit. He also was a talented mentor to all his employees. The laughter and fun stories are too numerous too mention. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Fondly, Elna Coble
Susan I am so sorry your father is gone. So glad you were able to be with him. I wasn't able to get to Palatka before daddy died, I was almost there but not quite.
I am sorry to hear about your loss. During this time of great sadness, I hope that the family find comfort from James 4:8. It says, "Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you." Along with family and friends, may you'll also look to God for comfort.
