Rest in Peace Miss Breed. You were a Light and an Inspiration at Fort Caroline in 1965. I knew I would never be a cheerleader but I could participate in sports. Even though I was't the best, you still made me feel special.

I am a former student of Landon High School and Ms. Breed was my gym teacher most of the years. I still remember when in 8th grade during gym class she was pitching softball to us. I was up to bat and I hit a home run off her. Made me proud. When I was in 11th grade, same thing, only this time she struck me out. She was an attractive and nice person. I had hoped she would be able to come to my 50th class reunion, the Class of 1960, but she was not able. My condolences to her family. I know you will miss her very much.

We have such fond memories of "Mimi" as my boys called her as toddlers - and it stuck. Marion was truly a loyal friend to our family. We all admired how she lived her life with faith, enthusiasm, and a wonderful sense of humor.

My sympathy to Miss Breed's family. She was a lovely person and is one of the positive forces in my memories of Landon High School. She taught me to play tennis, and her training and encouragement in gym class instilled positive attitude about exercise to accompany the set of exercises I still do on my own today. She insisted on persisting and following the rules. Praise from her was always treasured. I am glad she was a part of my life.
