On behalf or the Destroyer Leaders Association and especially the Willis A Lee DL4 crew members I want to offer our sincerest condolences. We met at one of the reunions and I remember what a good time we had. I served under the Captain and respected him greatly. Personally Nancy and I also offer you and your family our condolences.

Dear Moredock family- my heart and prayers go out to you in the passing of your wonderful dad! I have fond memories of seeing him at church or at your house when we were in high school. He was a blessing to many....Sincerely,Carla Crumley Forest and family

Please accept our most sincere condolences upon Bill's passing. Know that we will keep his entire family in our thoughts and prayers. I felt truly honored and privileged in having had the pleasure of meeting several members of the Moredock family when my son Rich was welcomed into the family as an integral member of the Sy-Klone team.
May the Good Lord bless and keep you each member of the Moredock always!

When I first heard of Bill's passing, I entered these thoughts on Facebook, "Sad to report the passing of a fantastic old school Navy man and fellow Vietnam Veteran Captain Bill Moredock, USN. Bill Commanded a tin can during the Vietnam war interdicting and boarding suspicious vessels close in to the coast, in the heart of the Delta and Viet Cong activity. I knew him as the Chairman of the Board for Sy-Klone International my employer for the past 11 years. We shared a lot of sea stories and a kinship that is only understood by those who have "stood the watch" together. Fairwinds and Following Seas my friend. It was an honor to have known you."
