Stephen Higgins - I knew Bill and his Brother Stephen from school days. In fact Stephen graduated with me in 1945 from Nesquehoning High School. I got to know Bill a lot more when he was hired to work funerals at the Bruce Nalesnik Funeral Home. He was a faithful and dedicated employeeand was a pleasure to work with. During the nice weather he wouuld come to my place and we would sit in the sun and solve all the world's problem. He was a gentleman and a good person. My prayer for Bill is this - May our loving God continue to keep himby his side and may his soul rest in peace. A-men. Stephen Higgins

Bill, will miss you and our talks while sitting on the front porch at 911 North Street during our summer visits. I will always remember your great sense of humor, always sprinkled with a little sarcasm! Rest in peace my friend.

Billy was a great friend to me and my family. I have wonderful memories of Billy and me spending time together on Virginia Beach when I was a child. Seems as though each time I visited Nesquehoning Billy was always around with great sprits and a helping hand. Go in peace my friend. May your fire never go out.

On behalf of all Shipmates of the USS PALAU (CVE-122) Veterans Association I wish to offer our deepest sympathy to the family of our dear beloved shipmate Bill Moskerintz. I am President and Founder of the Association which I started in late 2001 and Bill was one of the first to join up. Bill has attended every one of our annual reunions, he was loved by all his shipmates and will be dearly missed by all.
