Bill and family,

A giant of a man, he leaves behind evidence of his character, integrity, and accomplishments in his family that has and will continue to cast, a large shadow in his memory. The area has lost yet another icon and Rossford, an institution. God bless all during this difficult time of remorse and reflection.

Dear Bill,
I just want to extend my sympathy to you and your family. I know that the wonderful memories that you have of your father will carry you through the times when you miss him most.

I was a student of "coach" at Risingsun and I can truthfully say he was my favorite teacher of all time. I was very upset when he left when I was in 8th grade, but he promised he would come back when we graduated. I forgot that promise over the next four years but he didn't. When we graduated he was right there in the front row! A very caring man and a great influence on all the kids with whom he came in contact.
