I would like to let Ellie's family know that the Golfhers (women's Monday golf league) at South Toledo have honored Ellie with a plaque at South Toledo. We miss her in our league.

I wondered why I had not heard from Ellie this year and went online and saw the sad news. Ellie and I were roommates at MSU, both had Italian boyfriends, shared many things in common and although we hadn't seen each other often, always felt close to her. She remained a beautiful woman forever. I have some really great pictures of her in the dorm showing some of the crazy things we did. Spent many hours playing bridge. My heart is broken but happy knowing she is in God's kingdom making it a more beautiful place. My condolences to the family.

Many wonderful Playshop memories....even better memories from the bridge table! Love to the family

Ellie was a beautiful lady. I lived on Canal Road when she did and my son was a very good friend of her children. I always admired her. I loved her book "Forever Summer." I purchased five of them and gave one to the Whitehouse Library. The Waterville Library already had one. The rest I gave to friends. I regret never talking to her about her book. My sympathy to all of her family.
She will be missed. Lou Allen Peyton
