Elvine Marie
Elvine Marie Britter, 94, passed away March 26, 2014, at her home. Born in Carthage, AR, she came to Toledo in 1945, and married Wheeler H. Britter who preceded her in death in 2010. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church since 1973, where she served on the Usher Board, Missionary Society and the Arkansas Heritage Club. She worked for Flower and Riverside Hospitals and retired from MCO. She was also employed by Inverness Club and Area Office on Aging as a nutrition director.
She leaves to cherish her memory family and caregivers, daughter, Jackie Smoot; grandchildren, John Jr. and Jabrae N. Smoott; sister, Maude Crowder and Eddie Crowder, Carolyn Cohn, Frank Johnson and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at the Dale-Riggs Funeral Home with Pastor Jessie Spears officiating, interment was private.
