Back in the mid-2000's I met Frank at a house party held at the home of Cathy and Jim Flynn. Several fellows gathered together and talked sports. Frank and I were the only two guys who joined a huge circle of chairs gathered around a table, all women. I was so impressed the way Frank talked so lovingly about his wife. We traded comments throughout the evening with the ladies. Memorable evening, a couple guys involved in athletics (I was a former Rocket basketball player) enjoying the company of such an interesting array of ladies. My friend Dick Strahm spoke so well of Frank. Dick was Frank's defensive coordinator and had a wonderful career, often referring to Frank and thanking him for his great help. Frank will remain an institution at UT and I am so glad I met him that one evening and got to know him. God bless Frank!
