Just found out about Ed's passing. Our prayers go out to you Donna and family. Ed and Dick Scobie (R.I.P.)and myself spent many good years on the TPD accident investigation units. Tom & Gloria Freeman?
Donna, we met you and Ed a long time ago at the Toledo Goal Digger games. At the time my now husband, John, and I were dating and had season tickets by you. You both were so nice and gracious to us and we have thought of you throughout the years. You would bring your niece once in a while and I remember when you became pregnant with your daughter. Ed would buy me hot chocolate and give me hard time over yelling for the players. You both have made the world a better place. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you.
So sorry for your loss, Donna and Diana.
Diann and Mike Dawson
RIP Eddie, I had the honor of working for Ed when I was a young cop, he took care of his officers, and I'm very sorry to hear of his passing.
Ed was a great guy. He was my Sgt. when I came on in 1985. We both had a love for fishing. I will remember him smiling at the Walleye Tournment and razzing other fisherman about their lack of fishing skills. We will remember him at the next Tournment. He will be remembered and missed
My name is Mike Stewart. Eddie was my Sgt. when I first came on T.P.D. He was always well liked by all/ I enjoyed seeing him at all the Walleye Tournments. We always talked about fishing. We both enjoyed Salmon fishing in Luddington. It was really nice to see him in the last Tournment because I knew that he had some health problems. I will always remember him smiling and razing other fisherman about their lack of ability . Sorry I missed the funeral. I will make a point of remembering him at the next TPD Walleye Tournment.
