Frieda was a very caring and adventurous person. I was glad to share more than one adventure with her. We were interpretive rangers together at Pipe Spring National Monument in Arizona. We were able to travel to some beautiful areas in the west as part of that experience. We pushed our limits in the Galapagos and did birding in the highlands of Ecuador. Frieda was upbeat about life. I am glad she was part of mine.
Norm & Denise, So sorry to hear about your sister. What a great & loving person she was. She is now in her Eternal Home with her Heavenly Father & family. The loss will get easier, but the memories will last for ever. Love you both, Sue Ann
Norm and Denise, I was so sorry to hear about your sister's death. You are in my prayers and thoughts.
Much love and many blessings.
To the family of Elfrieda--I remember your mom/sister well and have thought of her through the years; in fact, I tried to find her on Facebook recently. We were childhood good friends living just a block apart on Oak Grove in Toledo. I specifically remember when she went with my parents and me to the River Raisin--I still have a pic of her and me in the water. I moved away from Oak Grove in 1956 so lost touch with Elfrieda. My deepest sympathy goes out to you. I'm sure I will always remember your mom/sister.
Julie and Jay,
Just thinking about you both right now. She was a lovely lady - always had a smile to share.
I knew Frieda from aquajog at the YMCA. She was a joy to talk to and I am glad I knew her. I am sorry for your loss.
It's been a long time, I remember your mom coming and supporting you at Maumee HS Volleyball games. She was indeed, a "great mom" !!!
Frieda was always a breath of fresh air when I worked with her in the Manor House at Wildwood. Her passion for sharing the splendor of the world around us will never be forgotten!
Our heartfelt sympathy. God bless you all.
I remember your Dad and Mom from their Christian Store and Koinonia. They were both very gracious people. Very giving. What a gift to the world they were.
Jay and Julie, I am so sorry for your loss. Aunt Frieda will always be remembered by me as a beautiful, gracious, caring soul who loved my uncle dearly. You are all in my prayers. Love, your cousin, Candy
I'm so sorry to hear of Frieda's passing!
Another of her many interests was dog-sitting! She watched my dog for a week two years in a row 2011-2012. She was a loving and delightful person and will be missed. I look forward to seeing her again someday in God's plan for mankind.
