Great guy fun to work with..he will be missed!!!!
I enjoyed working with Jerry when I was director of MAVCA. He was always helpful, friendly, a wonderful friend.
God bless a good man.
Meyer Family, I am saddened to hear of Jerry's passing this earth, but draw joy in knowing that he is at peace and in good company with the Lord Himself! You don't find many Jerry's these days. He was a sincerely compassionate, kind and genually caring individual. Our prayers and hope for comfort are sent your way, that you may find the peace and comfort that Jerry would have wanted for each and every one of you now that he is gone. Blessings, Janet Wolff, Maumee Board Of Education
Dear Linda and Family,
Merle and I were so sorry to hear about the passing of your dear Jerry. He was such a wonderful person and was so successful in all that he did. I knew him first from teaching in the Maumee Schools then later as Meadow Springs neighbors. Sorry we are not in Toledo at this time as we are at our home in Siesta Key, FL for the winter. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Charlotte and Merle Bryner
Lindsay, there aren't enough words to express how very sorry we are for your loss. Know that you & your family have been, and will continue to be, in our thoughts and prayers.
Linda and the Jerry Meyer Family-please accept my deepest condolences. Jerry was not only a very good friend but a wonderful community asset. He made his mark wherever he walked and will be missed by all who knew him. May God bless you and your family.
Mrs. Meyer, Lindsay, Jeremy, and the rest of the family. I'm so sorry for your loss. Mr. Meyer was always a very nice in the years we lived down the street on Meadow Springs. My condolences to the whole family.
Linda and the Jerry Meyer Family, The world is now a less "happy" place to live and work although heaven is rejoicing. I have nothing but the fondest memories of Jerry and the nine years we served together as Treasurer and Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent of the Maumee City Schools. Even when times were financially tough or labor negotiations were at a stalemate, Jerry was able to put a smile on our faces by sharing a humorous story, telling a joke or just being there with his optimistic perspective. He was a loyal, committed administrator who served his respective families at home and work, and his community well. We bless his memory and assure those who are left that loved him so much, Jerry Meyer made a difference!
Linda, Jeremy, Lindsay, Jennie and Arly, there are no words to tell you all how much we will miss Jerry and the shining light he brought to our family and all who knew him. Jerry never had an unkind word to say to anyone or about anyone, he was truly a one of a kind human being and we will all miss him dearly. We love you all and will keep you in our prayers as you try and get through this very difficult time. Much love now and always.
