Carolyn & Family
Thoughts and prayers go out to you. As a school teacher, Larry had the chance to touch so many lives. Because he was at Liberty Center for so long, he did just that. He'll be missed.
I had Mr. Vogtsberger as both a teacher and a coach. He was one of those people who leave a lasting impression on you. I was sad to learn of his passing. My condolences to his family.
Vogtsberger family, words cannot even begin to express our sorrow. Hold tight to memories for comfort and strength and always remember how much you all are cared about.
Carolyn, Kim, Brad and Brian, I had the pleasure of knowing Larry through my years of teaching at Liberty Center and then was fortunate enough to get to know all of you through AW. I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
So sorry to hear of Larry's passing. It was a pleasure to attend school with him at Northwood.
Dear Carolyn and family, You have my deepest sympathy. Larry was an excellent teacher and coach, but an even greater person. He will be missed by many. You will all be in my prayers. Many Blessings, Scoop Miller
Dear Carolyn and family,
I was so sorry when I heard a few weeks ago about how sick Larry was. I couldn't believe he died so quickly. My father-in-law died of pancreatic cancer and he was so sick for over a year. I guess it was a blessing Larry didn't have to suffer for a long time, but you sure didn't have long to spend with him after his diagnosis. Cancer just sucks!! That just a fact! I have such great memories of teaching with him at L.C. Larry was always good for a laugh and was so much fun to be around. I loved watching him coach girl's BB and how he would stand the whole game and yell everything to the girls that he wanted them to do! What a great guy! I am so sorry for you loss.
Take care of yourselves and let your friends and family help you through this next phase. I am sure you will have a lot of support.
God Bless you and your kids, Carolyn.
Deb (Smith) Buehrer

BRIAN AND FAMILY,
Of course you know the sadness we all feel for you and that comes from our affection for all of you. My heart is breaking for you. This is also an opportunity for me to pass along the sympathies from one of your scholarship sponsors, Brian. The Korean War Veterans, Chapter 131 of Northwest Ohio asked me to contact you to let you know how sorry they are for you, and to also note that your father must have been a very good man to have raised a son like you. I assured them that indeed both of your parents have been great loving role models for all of you Vogtsberger kids! You are the legacies for your dad. XXX
Dear Carolyn & family, We are so sorry for your loss. Larry was well liked by so many and our community and school are very saddened. Thinking of the Vogtsberger family during this very difficult time! I will never forget sitting in Mr. Vogts' classroom for the very first time and being more nervous than ever! By the end of the year I was glad I took his class. He taught me to "do what I think I should do," along with many other things. He was a tough teacher but he was that way to better his students. He was a great man and I know he left an impact on myself and my classmates. Rest in Peace Mr. Vogtsberger, you will be missed!

"I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love." - Leo Buscaglia
