John u was my former manager'friend and mentor
I am greatly saddened. John was a people person throughout his life
He taught me so much about business and life.john fought this battle with cancer in the same competitive manner as in business. John was my hero and he will forever be missed. I loved this guy like a brother

Dear Karen and family,
My deepest sympathy to all of you. John was such a blessing to all of us. He was always so happy and full of life. I will miss seeing him running through the neighborhood and sitting by the Florida pool tanning every day!I was blessed to know him!
Karen and family,
I extend my deepest sympathy to you. I was shocked to hear of John's death. He was a very charismatic person and a great salesman. I always enjoyed talking with him. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

John was my Boss at IBM for awhile what a fun loving Guy, we use to stand in the window and watch him drive in with his little Blue Sports Car. Then he would clean house, he would sweep all the salesmen out the door and told them to bring him some orders!! What a guy - God Bless John!
Nobody was more upbeat about life and people at Whitmer High than "UB." Over the past 50 years his levity has come to mind and just last week I found myself walking around the State Capitol whistling loud and joyfully like UB used to do. It must have been him heralding to all of us that the end was near but everything is going to be alright. We're all better and positive people because of John. He loved Karen so much all his life-he gave up a trip to Europe we had planned together after sailing on the Great Lakes together as Merchant Seamen. God bless his legacy, Karen and family.
