Linda, I was so sorry to hear about the death of your husband. Mary ( Mason) Droessler
Perry Johnson was an inspiration to me. He not only made me a considerably better writer but he also let me paint his house for money when I was a broke graduate student. I loved his subtle humor, and watching him and the janitor share a guitar and play songs together at a UT staff Christmas party. My condolences to the family. Perry (I mean Dr. Johnson :)) will always have a place in my heart. Take solice in the fact he helped so many people and that his time on earth made such a difference.
I remember well his leadership in scholarship regarding personal health long before others understood its importance and function. He was a pioneer in an important field of scholarship and I am grateful for his guidance when I was a young man.
My heartfelt condolences.

Linda and family. It is with great shock and sadness to learn of Perry's passing. Such a wonderful, genuine, kind person. Please accept our sincerest condolences. Remember that he'll be with you...always.
Linda, Gail and family, know that Perry is missed as a beloved friend and a faithful "Back Row Boy" in choir. God's comfort be with you in your time of sorrow.
My love and prayers to Linda and family members ... for the loss of a most awesome man. Perry's thoughts and philosophies on true success have impacted me and those I counsel in so many ways...and I don't think I've ever truly thanked him. His legacy in this manner shall live on. May you all find peace knowing that eventhough he has shifted from this realm of existence, his beautiful soul will be shared in the next. I am truly blessed to have known him. Again, my love to all.
Was fortunate to have Dr. Johnson in my graduate classes in the 80's. Condolences to the family.
