We are so sorry to hear about Mr. Loo's passing. The Golden Lily holds a special place in our heart as my Grandmother worked there for 25 years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Pam Schreiter (Tippin) and family

When I worked downtown in the 80s and 90s, the Golden Lily was was one of my favorites for lunch. Mr. Loo ran a very fine restaurant operation. He set a wonderful example for others. Wish I had gotten to know him personally. May his family and friends find peace and comfort. May he rest in peace.
Our condolences to the family. David, my friend you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Bob and Cherie
Our condolences to all of your family. John was always a bright spot in our everyday walks in the neighborhood where we lived closely to his house. He was a marvel with his elaborate garden and wonderful cooking. Sometimes the dialogue was difficult to understand, but we always seemed to manage. He was always kind to my boys, Paul & Max, along with his wife, who found great wonder in their garden. We feel though an era has passed, the knowledge & wisdom he spread to others will always remain. Mrs. Loo, please take care of yourself now as you took care of your husband throughout the years. We will miss John and express our sympathy to all the families. Anne, Mike, Paul & Max Brunner
