Dr. Anderson was one of my absolute favorite professors at BGSU, and I genuinely loved his classes. His sharp wit, his great experiences, and his keen knowledge of politics made classes so enjoyable. I am honored that in my time at BGSU, he not only was my professor, but he became my friend. I will always cherish our conversations, and the memories I have of him. He not only supported me in the classroom, but my political endeavors as well. I will miss him greatly.

I am a former student of Dr. Anderson. I have such fond memories of his classes and his passion for politics. He was very thoughtful in his delivery of the material and had great respect and kindness for his students. I often wondered where he was and how he was doing. I remember when one of his parents was going through the disease that he suffered from. He showed such love and kindness when sharing their struggle. I will remember him as a very positive and large part of my college experience.

I knew when I met Dennis we were as opposite as any two people could be, but I also knew he was the kindest man I would ever come to know and that I would be there to love and care for him the rest of his life. xoxo

As a former student of his, I am saddened by his passing. It was an honor to have met him. My condolences to the family.
