Joan - Our deepest sympathies to you and the kids. Jim was a great man and will be sorely missed by many. We are out of the country so unable to attend the services but know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy to the King family. Dr. King was one of my favorite professors at UT. I thoroughly enjoyed the medical sociology course. Dr. King and you, his family, are being remembered in my prayers.

I worked with Jim at the city of Toledo for many years
He was resourceful,helpful and I believe saved the City a lot of money on health care. He will be missed.

My condolences to Professor King's family. He was my sociology professor at UT many years ago and was a big reason I decided to minor in the subject. As a Wood County employee for years, I also got to witness and benefit from his good work for the county. He will be missed.

What a wonderful life and a wonderful man. He was the first person I ever met who had a PhD, and I was initially in awe of him until I realized how down-to-earth he was. What a sweet, sweet man. My heart is with the King family at this time as I hold all of you up in prayer.
