I had Mrs Schmeltz as my kindergarten teacher 9 years ago. She was an amazing teacher and my fellow kindergarten classmates (now 8th graders) and I are sad to hear about her passing. RIP Mrs Schmeltz

I Met Janet when I worked at Lark Elementary. In 1998 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and the first person to call me was Janet. She was so comforting and assured me every thing. would be fine. Truly a beautiful lady.

My sincere sympathies to Pat and the family. I met Janet at Lark Elementary School and immediately felt a connection with her. Janet had a great rapport with the children and parents alike. I admired her strength, determination and faith while she fought her battles with cancer. Janet was a special person and taken way too soon. May she RIP.

I had the pleasure of working with Janet for 5 years at the now demolished Lark Elementary. She was a joy to teach with and always very creative and always put the kids first.
