John Magnuson "Maggie" I loved him dearly and he was my friend since the 7th grade. He was larger than life in his St. Paul Flyer jacket. He was a legend and an inspiration to all that knew him. He gave you courage and strength and such a positive outlook on life. He will forever be in my heart. Love you Barb Craven-Rees, aka Strings

John was my son's hero. My son took care of him and John was exceptionally nice to him. I had visited John in the past and he was such an interesting man to talk to and so very kind. I was shocked to hear of his passing. Rest in Peace John. You will be missed by many,

John was a hero to many. For me he was an inspiration because he suffered with such equanimity, even sharing joy with others in he midst of his own suffering. I visited him often whenever I was in the USA and came to know the man of faith, hope and love that John was. I told another friend recently that there was no better time to die than during the Easter Triduum. To die with Jesus and to know the reality of everlasting life, rising with Jesus.

I know he rests with his God in Peace and Joy.
