I had the pleasure of caring for this very kind and gentle man and got to meet his loving Family. John was always quick with a comeback to any conversation with usually some kind of a joke, You could hear the kindness in his voice, John thank you for all the great memories you provided for me,may you finally be able to rest in peace. It was a pleasure being able to know and work with you.John you are missed by many,Rest in peace my Friend.

In the short time that I knew John, I realized that he was a very kind, sweet man that loved his family more than anything in life. I had the pleasure of caring for him for a brief time. I enjoyed going to his home because he always made me feel welcome as did his loving family. This is one family that truly loved each other and I know that he will be sorely missed by not just them but by the many people that knew him. The love that he showed was real. You could hear it in his voice and feel it in your heart when he spoke. He was one great man that I am proud to say I knew. I pray that he is sailing through the heavens above and watching over his family the with love that they know he had for them. May you, Pat, Missy and Jason find comfort through this somehow knowing that he is no longer suffering. He is now sailing away each and every day and he no longer needs to find water to sail. Sail on my friend...
