To Joe and Ryan,
My sincerest sympathy to you and all your family. When I read about your Dad/Grandfather and seeing that he worked for Gulf Refinery in Toledo, I had to wonder if he knew my Dad-Stephen Horvath who had worked there for 31 years also retiring in 1981 upon the closing of the refinery. This is a small world!
Again my deepest sympathies to everyone in your family.

My condolences to your family on the loss of your parents and sister. I have such fond memories of growing up next door - skating on your flooded field in the winter, playing hide and seek among the rows of corn in the fall and savoring the first asparagus of spring. Our introduction to eggplant was courtesy of your garden, and even though mom battered and deep fried it, we still didn't like it.(Not sure any of us do yet.) Even today, driving down Talmadge Road brings back happy memories and a smile.

Jeanne - So sorry to her about your parents. We were all family back at St. Clement's in a time of discovery and wonder. Our parents supported us with loving care as we learned to stand on our own. I'm sure that same kindness continued through the years. Although we've not been in contact for decades, the earliest images of our life's tapestry are still vibrant and well grounded. I believe resonance along all those threads sustain us with compassion and wholeness throughout and beyond our lives. I wish you and your family peace and blessing.
