Leonard loved life! He was a good friend to my family and I. He supported and believed in me when few did. A class act of a human being!

Leonard was a big man with an even bigger heart. As a youth, Leonard was a member of Boy Scout Troop 199 in Maumee, Oh. Later when his son Andy wanted to get involved in Scouting, Leonard followed him back into Troop 199 where they were both active for many years. Leonard served as the Troop's Camping Chairman and I have several great memories of him on camping trips, particularly a one to Kelly's Island and a trip up to the Pinery in Ontario, Canada. Leonard was a great supporter of Scouting and of me in my tenure as Scoutmaster. We later became(unsuccessful) hunting buddies both more interested in the comradory and story telling than in the quest for the elusive White-tail. He will be greatly missed by many. R.I.P. buddy.

Leonard was a close friend to my Dad for as long as I can remember and one of the few people I'd ever ask about.
Always the biggest guy in the room, his passing will certainly leave a vacant spot in many folk's lives.
My best to Nancy, Ron and Andrew.
