Thank you to everyone who has expressed such kind words & memories of my Mother. She had a long and abundant life full of experiences she enjoyed sharing. She was a "teacher" to the end.....always helpful and sharing the knowledge she had gained over 93 years! I say she is on to new adventures! Miss me----but let me go! Sincerely, Janet Jackson (daughter) Hayward,CA

Marie was one of my father's favorite and best teachers. My whole family was very touched by her heartfelt comments at my father's memorial service. You have all our sympathies.

Mrs. Snyder, was my third grade teacher at Pine Street Elementary, now Frank Elementary. If you were to ask me who was my favorite teacher, my response was always her, she not only reminded me of my own grandmother (which I remember calling her sometimes) she also had a wonderful way with all children and I remember what a great sense of humor she had. Her kindness and patients with myself and others , made her a pleasure to be around , her passion for teaching and learning were obvious, making it easy to want to enter her class everyday. What a great lady, I feel fortunate to have known her. I will always think of her and smile! My sympathy and prayers go out to the entire family.

God Bless, Wendy Hansen -Urban

So many life lessons hidden throughout our third and fourth grade instruction. Who else would teach the Wilder series by letting students build a life-sized log cabin inside the classroom. What a gift to have known her.

Although I never had Mrs. Snyder as a teacher in my years at Pine Street School, we were well acquainted. And I always appreciated her kindness and sense of humor. She was a unique and memorable person who will remain in my memories forever.

My sincerest condolences to her family.
